Your 12-word recovery phrase is the master key to your wallet. If you lose your phone or delete the app, this phrase is the only way to restore access to all your funds. Write it on paper and store it in multiple secure physical locations — never digital, never cloud, never photo. Trust Wallet staff will never ask for it.

Download Trust Wallet from the official App Store or Google Play. Open → tap Create a New Wallet → accept the terms → write down your 12-word recovery phrase in exact order → verify the phrase → done. Never skip the backup step. If you lose access without it, your funds cannot be recovered by anyone.

Open Trust Wallet → tap I Already Have a Wallet → select Multi-Coin Wallet → enter your 12-word phrase in the correct sequence → tap Import. All assets across all chains will be restored. Only ever do this in the official Trust Wallet app. If prompted for your phrase anywhere else, close immediately.

Transactions get stuck when the gas fee was too low or the network is congested. Search your transaction hash on a block explorer (Etherscan, BSCScan). If stuck for 24+ hours, you can speed it up by resubmitting with a higher gas fee, or cancel it using the same nonce with a 0-value transaction. Contact support with your transaction hash for detailed guidance.

Blockchain transactions are irreversible by design — Trust Wallet cannot reverse or cancel a completed transaction. If you sent to an exchange address you own, contact that exchange immediately. Always verify addresses by checking the first and last 6 characters before confirming. Copy-paste from verified official sources only.

Trust Wallet is fully non-custodial — your private keys are stored on your device only. The app is open-source, regularly audited by third-party security firms, and has an active bug bounty program. Enable biometric authentication and use a strong passcode. Never approve unknown token approvals in DApps, and always verify URLs before connecting.

Tap the Swap icon → select FROM token and TO token → enter amount → review the estimated output, slippage tolerance, and gas → confirm. Trust Wallet automatically routes your swap through DEX aggregators to find the best price. For larger swaps, consider adjusting slippage tolerance to avoid failed transactions.

Go to the Collectibles tab. If your NFT isn't visible: (1) Confirm the correct blockchain network is enabled. (2) Pull to refresh. (3) Tap + to manually add the NFT using the contract address and token ID. Trust Wallet supports ERC-721, ERC-1155, BEP-721, and Solana SPL NFTs.

Tap the token toggle icon in your wallet → search for the token name. If not found, tap Add Custom Token → select the blockchain network → paste the contract address from CoinGecko or the project's official site → enter symbol and decimals → save. The token will now appear in your wallet list.

Tap a stakeable asset (BNB, ETH, TRX, ATOM, etc.) → tap Stake → select a validator → enter the amount → confirm. Rewards are distributed automatically per each network's schedule. Some assets have mandatory unbonding periods (e.g., ATOM has 21 days). You retain full self-custody of staked assets throughout.

Trust Wallet will never DM you first on any social platform or ask for your seed phrase. If targeted: (1) Do not share your phrase with anyone. (2) Revoke suspicious token approvals at revoke.cash. (3) Email security@trustwallet.com. (4) Move funds to a freshly created wallet immediately if compromised. Report phishing to Google Safe Browsing.
